One Book, One Community 2015

Author in Residence 2015 - Daniel James Brown 6.11 edition

The One Book, One Community program was introduced to the Park City community in 2003 by the Park City Library. The goal of the program is to build community by connecting people to literature that fosters open dialogue, encourages the sharing of different ideas and viewpoints, and promotes literacy. Everyone in the community is invited to read the same book and discuss it over the course of the summer through various programming opportunities. Over the years, the program has grown to include other community partners such as Summit County Library and Dolly’s Bookstore. This year we are excited to offer a very special program that compliments the Park City Education Foundation’s Author-In-Residence program along with the Sundance Institute and the Utah Humanities Council.
