Mark Maziarz, Photographer
Park City: A Portrait
The other half of the creative team behind Park City: A Portrait, photographer, Mark Maziarz, will join us at Dolly’s to sign his photo compilation.
We’ve all seen portraits of people… but what is a portrait of a place?
How can a place – a community, with its multifaceted textures and colors and seasons, its many inhabitants and activities – be captured in a photograph?
Perhaps a portrait of a place can only emerge as a mosaic of moments, a collection of images that remind us how we felt on a misty morning, a crisp fall afternoon, a happily sleepy snowy après-ski evening.
Mark Maziarz and Rick Pieros present some of their favorite photographs of Park City to create a beautiful and evocative portrait of this well-loved, historic Utah mountain town.
Stay up to date on this holiday series of events on Dolly’s Facebook, here.
