ever curious

Here’s to YOU, Curious George.

In case you haven’t heard our tragic news:

Dear Friends,

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we had to say goodbye to our dear friend, colleague, and 1 of our 3 book store cats, Curious George this week.

George, known for his wild adventures in and outside of the store, met his fate in an unfortunate accident, Wednesday, July 6, 2016, involving an automobile. Our little grey gentleman left this world immediately and seemingly without too much pain.

Dear Friends, It is with the heaviest of hearts that we had to say goodbye to our dear friend, colleague, and 1 of our 3 book store cats, Curious George this week. George, known for his wild adventures in and outside of the store, met his fate in an unfortunate accident, Wednesday, July 6, 2016, involving an automobile. Our little grey gentleman left this world immediately and seemingly without too much pain. George was adopted from Nuzzles & Co. (formerly known as Furburbia) here in Park City, and he, along with his littermate, Pippi, joined the long lineage and succession of rescued book store cats at Dolly's Bookstore in September 2012. From his rabble-rousing around the store, climbing trees on Swede Alley, adventuring all over Old Town Park City [no matter the weather or foot traffic], George quickly became the ever-welcoming feline-personality to Dolly's visitors young and old -- we already miss our little fur-prince/community liason. George is survived by his littermate/sister, Pippi Longstocking the long-haired tortie, who continues her wild and sassy life at the bookstore, and his uncle/nemesis, Mr. Dolly, the black tuxedo cat who runs Dolly's. Rest in power, and may you keep exploring throughout the cat-cosmos, Georgie. Thanks for teaching us how to love and adventure with curiosity and reckless abandon. Curious George 9.10.2012 - 7.6.2016 If you have any special memories, stories, or photos of our Boy George, please post them in the comments of this album. We would love to see them. Love, The Dolly's Family
